# ToonTone — Privacy Policy

ToonTone (the "App") is published by Feel Apps Yazılım ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use ToonTone, how we use it, and your choices.

## 1. Data we collect


### 1.1 Account data

When you start the App we automatically create an anonymous account through Firebase Authentication so we can save your progress on this device. The account stores:


- An anonymous user ID (UID) that we generate

- Your display name (you choose it during onboarding)

- Your @username handle (you choose it during onboarding)

- Optional email address if you choose Sign in with Apple — you may also use Apple's Hide My Email feature, in which case we receive an Apple-relayed address rather than your real one

- Optional first and last name if Apple shares them on the very first Sign in with Apple authorization


You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.


### 1.2 Gameplay data

- Your total score, current level, and per-match round results so we can render the leaderboard, your profile, and any active match.

- Your energy/hearts, streak, and last-played day for the lives system.

- Your Pro subscription state (provided by RevenueCat) so we know whether to grant Pro features.


### 1.3 Social data

- Friend requests you send or receive (sender + recipient UID, timestamps, status)

- Friendships (pair of UIDs, timestamp)

- Multiplayer matches (the two participants, the chosen format, the levels, the per-round guesses, scores, and outcome)

- Block list entries you create

- Reports you submit about other users


### 1.4 Advertising data

ToonTone shows ads through Google AdMob to keep the App free. AdMob may collect:


- The Advertising Identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission. Otherwise we serve non-personalised ads using SKAdNetwork.

- Coarse device information (device model, OS version, language, country, IP address) needed to deliver ads.

- Ad interaction events (impression, click, completed view) for measurement.


You can opt out of personalised ads at any time from Settings → Manage data preferences (re-shows the consent form) or from iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (revoke the ATT permission). Ads are completely removed for users with an active ToonTone Pro subscription.


We do not receive your IP address, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. AdMob processes its data under [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).


### 1.5 In-app purchases

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and forwarded to RevenueCat for entitlement management. We never see your payment method or Apple ID.

## 2. How we use the data


We use the data above only to:


- Authenticate you and keep you signed in across launches

- Render the home screen, leaderboard, your profile, and any matches you're in

- Allow your friends to find you by `@handle` and send you friend requests

- Run multiplayer matches and credit the appropriate +/− score delta when they end

- Show ads through Google AdMob (free users only)

- Honour your Pro entitlement

- Investigate and act on user reports for safety reasons

- Comply with legal obligations


We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.

## 3. Where the data lives


- Firebase (operated by Google LLC) — Authentication, Firestore database, hosting

- Google AdMob (operated by Google LLC) — advertising delivery and measurement

- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store payment processing, App Tracking Transparency consent

- RevenueCat (operated by RevenueCat, Inc.) — subscription entitlements


These providers process your data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments. Data is stored on servers in the EU/US.

## 4. Data retention


- Anonymous account data: kept until you delete the App on this device or request deletion. Anonymous accounts are device-bound — uninstalling the App without linking Apple Sign-In permanently disconnects them.

- Apple-linked account data: kept until you ask us to delete it (see Section 6).

- Match history: kept indefinitely so completed matches remain visible in your "Recent" list. You can request deletion of all match history by emailing support.

- Reports: kept up to 12 months after the report is resolved.

- Advertising data: retained by Google AdMob according to [Google's data retention policies](https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention).

## 5. Children


ToonTone is rated 4+ on the App Store, but the social features (leaderboard, friends, multiplayer chat-free invitations) are intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, please email support@feelapps.co and we will remove the account.

## 6. Your rights


You can:


- Access the data on your account from Profile in the App

- Edit your display name and `@handle` from Profile → Edit username

- Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete account or by emailing support@feelapps.co

- Withdraw consent for Sign in with Apple at any time via Apple's Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple and revoke the App

- Manage advertising consent (GDPR/CCPA) from Settings → Manage data preferences

- Export your data on request — email support@feelapps.co


If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

## 7. Security


All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data at rest in Firebase and RevenueCat is encrypted at the platform level. We rely on Firebase Security Rules to ensure each user can only read and write their own private data, and we never expose private fields like energy, lives, or last-played timestamps to other players.

## 8. Changes to this policy


We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document reflects the latest revision. If we make material changes that affect how we use your data, we will notify you in the App before the changes take effect.
